St. Vincent’s Medical Center Construction Photography

Building Trust chronicles the construction of the 125,000 square foot Elizabeth M. Pfriem SWIM Center for Cancer Care at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The center consolidates all of St. Vincent’s outstanding cancer education, diagnosis and treatment programs.

From November 2007 to February 2010, TAF was on site to capture key moments in the construction as they happened. From the assembly of the first crane to the erection of metal girders to the interior finishing touches, TAF approached each shoot with a fresh eye and an artist’s sensibility. These photos reveal the dawn of a new era at St. Vincent’s, where great challenges will be undertaken and triumphant successes will be realized.
